Middle school registration
Students already enrolled in the Mukilteo School District during their 5th grade year, should have registered for their middle school classes in the spring prior to staring middle school, at enrollment sessions during the school day. Students who are new to the Mukilteo School District entering 6th through 8th grade can register at the neighborhood middle school their home address is assigned to.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will need to provide the following documents to register their student(s):
- Verification of your child’s birth date
Birth certificate, passport, or document from the doctor’s office showing your child’s birth date.
A list of dates and immunizations that your child has received. (The state’s current immunization requirements can be found on the Washington State Department of Health website.)
- Verification of address
A purchase or lease agreement, or a current utility bill showing your name and address within the service area of the school where you are registering.
- Names and phone numbers of 2 emergency contacts
These should be people who the school would contact in an emergency or if your child gets sick at school and we are unable to reach you.
New students entering 7th and 8th grade also may be asked to take a placement test in math and reading.
Middle school main offices will be open the third week of August, on a limited schedule, for registration.
Each middle school has an event at the start of school when students can accomplish tasks such as get their class schedule, have pictures taken, get ASB cards, pre-purchase a yearbook, or get their locker assignment.
