About the Fairmount and Serene Lake/Picnic Point Orchestras

Mr. H teaches fifth grade orchestra for these three schools. Fifth graders have the opportunity to learn the violin, viola, or cello.
Registration for these classes is done through ParentSquare. If families are having difficulty finding where to register in ParentSquare, maybe  this Google form is easier. Please feel free to email Judy Heminger at hemingerjl@mukilteo.wednet.edu for additional assistance. Also, each school's music teacher should have informational forms that might help.

Need an instrument? Families are invited to rent an instrument from a strings specialty store like Hammond Ashley or Bischofberger Violins. They have similar prices and often have higher quality instruments that are easier and more fun to play. Local stores such as Kennelly Keys, or Music & Arts have online instrument rentals that will be delivered directly to the school your child attends.
Mukilteo School District wants everyone to be able to participate and has some instruments that are available for families to borrow on a first come-first served basis. Requesting a free instrument is done on the registration form.
