Hello, my name is Monica Reed, your school librarian.  I am excited to be back in the building with the wonderful students and staff at Fairmount Elementary!  This is my third year as a librarian.  Before being a librarian, I spent 19 wonderful years as a 5th grade teacher in in the Mukilteo School District. Besides reading, I enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, and gardening.  I also enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, especially the food.  

Hello, my name is Patricia Culler, your school library paraeducator. I have been an elementary and middle school substitute teacher and paraeducator in Mukilteo School District since 2018.  Prior to that I was a volunteer in the district for Science (STEM) and Art Docent programs for 5+ years while working as a mechanical engineer and manager at Boeing. I have a son who currently attends Harbour Pointe Middle School.

Besides working with kids and books, I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, hiking, mountain biking, snow-skiing, paddleboarding, camping and refereeing youth soccer. At home, I also like playing with my pets (2 cats/1 dog) and doing science experiments or arts and crafts.  I know a little sign language and love to learn new phrases in different languages.  I am very happy to be able to work with the awesome students and staff at Fairmount Elementary.
