Hello!  My name is Mrs. Trent and I am delighted to be or have been your teacher.  I graduated many years ago from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California with a Masters Degree in Education.  Since then, I have learned and taught in Los Angeles Unifed School District, Lake Stevens School District and Mukilteo School District. It has been my honor to serve as a teacher to many students over the years!  It is my hope that together we have learned to: read, understand and enjoy books, write with purpose and for pleasure, and to use numbers to decipher, depict and problem solve. My upmost goal has been for you to learn how to: think to answer, think to reason and to think to problem solve, for it is with thought and perserevence that you will find answers to questions thought and wondered about.  You will find meaning and joy in what you read, write and calulate.  In short, in that you will find pleasure in what you learn.  If that is so, then my biography as a teacher is complete.

A bit about me:  I am married and have two grown sons who both went through Mukilteo Elementary as students.  My husband and one of my sons work for Boeing and my other son works at a technology firm.  I live right by Mukilteo and enjoy being part of the local community.  I like to work in my yard, stroll through a garden nursery or two, read, search for vintage finds, shop, and spend time with my family. I like sunrises, and sunsets, surprises, dogs, and naps when I can.
