       Mace Westling:​  Mace was nominated by Ms. Salcedo and Mrs. Green for showing up to class with a positive energy. He engages in his learning consistently. He often volunteers to read out loud in class and has visible leadership qualities.

       Kirill Ianev:  Kirill was nominated by Ms. Wagner for being a great example to his peers.  He is respectful, kind, and sincere and is always willing to help however he can.  Kirill stays on top of his schoolwork and always does an excellent job!  Well done, Kirill, thank you for all that you bring to our class!

        Eunice Buaduwah:  Eunice was nominated by Ms. Johnson for being amazing.  She's the first one on camera each morning.  She unmutes herself to contribute to discussions.  She asks important questions.  She volunteers to read aloud.  She turns in amazing work and shares powerful ideas.  She even shares bonus poetry with Ms. Johnson, who is lucky to have her in her class!

        Noah Brandenburg:  Noah was nominated by Ms. Armentrout because Noah arrives on time for class, has his camera on, connects with his classmates to speak Spanish, and focuses on his work.

    Oct 22, 2021 MVA Student of the Week

        Shoshana Baez:  Shoshana was nominated by Ms. Bowlden because she is always the first to volunteer to talk in class. But Ms. Bowlden is more impressed by her performance when she can't always see her. In breakout rooms, her peers report her as being a leader to help everyone get things done; she shares her screen and makes a plan for folks to follow, all on her own initiative, which makes everything easier.
