OTTER AWARD
Every year, the Washington Library Association (WLA) nominates 6 transitional chapter books for the OTTER Award. OTTER stands for "our time to enjoy reading." Students in grades 2-3 are encouraged to read at least two of the nominees and vote for their favorite in April.
The OTTER Award is typically open only to students in grades 2-3; however, for the 2021-2022 school year students in grades K-5 are all invited to participate!

To be eligible for prizes, students must read the books and pass the AR test with 80% or higher.
