• ACES values the contributions of all parents, guardians, and families toward creating a rich, equitable educational community that supports each of our students to graduate and reach their potential.

Never underestimate the power you have to support your child's learning. And that support doesn't have to be a grand gesture, or take up tons of time.

While we have some ideas for supporting our school below, your students benefit greatly from simple things that every parent or caring family member can do at home throughout your day and week.

    • Talk about school at home
    • Ask your child what they are learning and working on
    • Ask about their future goals and plans
    • Encourage them to attend every day and do homework
    • Ask for help if they are struggling and you're not sure what to do. The counselors, administrators, and support staff are all here to support *you* to to support your student

If you do have additional time and/or resources, here are some ideas of ways to support ACES -- or let us know if you have have another skill or idea that you want to put to work! Contact our family liaison for more information or help getting plugged in.

    Volunteer

We welcome parents and guardians to volunteer! Ways you can support ACES with your time, resources, and ideas:

    • Share your career with students

    • Organize staff appreciation initiatives

    • Chaperone student events

    • Raise or donate money to support students, events, and campus improvements

    • Supervise lunchtime

[Volunteers working on-campus or directly with students must be cleared by the district prior to volunteering. See the district volunteer page for more information and to download an application in your native language, or you can pick up a copy at school.]
