Technology Projects

  • Students throughout the Mukilteo School District are using new tablet computers thanks to voter approval of the bond proposal in February 2014. The proposal included $10 million for technology improvements, which began with the installation of a wireless network in all elementary schools, the District Office and the support services building in the summer of 2014, and the installation of a wireless network in middle schools and high schools the following summer.

With the network in place, the next step was to purchase wireless computing devices for the students to use. About 2,300 tablets were distributed to the elementary schools for use by students at the elementary level and about 1,300 tablets of a different model were distributed to middle schools and high schools.
