Human Resources

  • The District has been following guidance from Snohomish Health District, the state Department of Health and OSPI to respond appropriately to the Coronavirus outbreak. As of November 16, 2020, the following is an update on the District’s current hiring and employment opportunities:

    • The District has a limited number of teaching or paraeducator positions or pools for staffing needs through the end of the 2020-21 school year.  Candidates should be prepared to work either on-site or remotely.  Other positions may also be posted at any time as the need arises.  Our classified and certificated substitute pools are closed for now since the demand for substitutes is limited.
    • Applications for posted pools and current vacancies are still being accepted.
    • Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted, and interviews will be conducted online.
    • The Human Resources Department staff is currently working part-time on site and part-time remotely. If you don’t know who to contact, you may email questions to the general Human Resources email address and your message will be forwarded to the appropriate staff member.

We will adjust and post our operational procedures based upon re-opening guidelines as directed by the State. We urge everyone to follow the updated guidance from the State, the Snohomish County Health District and the state Department of Health for social distancing and other precautions to slow the spread of this virus. Thank you for your continued patience and support.
