Hello Cheetahs! My name is Mrs. Ficek (pronounced "Fit-sik") and I teach 2nd grade! 

I have taught at Challenger Elementary for 5 years now! Before teaching in Mukilteo, I taught in Franklin Pierce School District (in Tacoma) for 3 years. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grade, but had student teaching experience in 4th, 5th, and Kindergarten as well! 

In addition to teaching, I love running, traveling around the world, reading, cooking, and as all my students know...elephants!
