Dear Parents,

My name is Karen Rickey and I am a third grade teacher at Mukilteo Elementary.  This is my 30th year of teaching and my 18th year with the Mukilteo School District.  I have taught a variety of grades, but third grade is my favorite!  

I am currently back in college to get my master's degree in curriculum and instruction, so I am more busy than ever.  When I finish I will have more time for my favorite things like travel, reading, watching the Huskies and Seahawks, and spending time with my family and friends.  I am married and have two daughters that graduated from Kamiak High School.
