Welcome to my webpage!
On this page you will find a preview to what each class has to offer you this school year!
This is my third year at ACES, and I have been teaching for over 30 years in Math, PE, Health and Leadership. I love working here because it gives me a chance to really get to know my students and help them be successful in whatever avenue they choose.
I enjoy skiing and hiking in the winter, and in summer I spend as much time on the water as I can. My cat Zooey likes to come with me. I have two wonderful children and their significant others plus two grand puppies.
I am so thankful to be back in person and am available by appointment after school or during Focus on Mondays and Wednesdays for extra help. Everything you will need is on my Schoology page once you sign in. On this website you will find short videos walking you through what each class I teach has to offer and how to navigate through it. I have designed the website to help provide every opportunity for your student to be successful. If they miss class, I have provided a digital copy of what we did in class that day and do allow for make up within a reasonable ammount of time.
As we all now know, nothing beats being there in person and I highly recommend that students attend as often as possible. In fact, most of our work is completed in class. If you are having difficulties reaching Schoology, please call the office for help. The best way to contact me is by my district email at email@example.com .
In each class I have provided lessons in numerous different forms from
- Labs on Desmos to
- online videos with Khan academy or Delta Math to
- work in our CPM Math curriculum with as many hands on opportunities provided for learning.
I believe that math should be a place of enjoyment and growth for all. I look forward to a great school year!
