Ms. Rebecca Beddingfield
Hello and welcome. My name is Rebecca Beddingfield. My students call me Ms. B or Ms. Beddingfield. I am the English Language Development (ELD) teacher at Olympic View Middle School. I support students learning English. In 2022-2023 I will teach ELD 1 (level 1) and ELD 2 (level 2).
I am originally from California and moved to Washington in 2019. I love all the trees and the mountains. My partner and I like to hike together with our dog. I like to draw, dance, and play board games. I really enjoy coffee.

ELD 1 (period 1): This class is for students who are at the beginning level in reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. We will use the Inside the USA curriculum to develop our skills in English. We will focus on language building for social and instructional purposes (WIDA Standards). We will build toward expressive and interpretive language skills from level 1 to level 2.
ELD 2 (period 2): This class is for students who are at the early-intermediate level in reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. We will use the Inside Fundamentals curriculum to develop our skills in English. We will focus on language building for social and instructional purposes (WIDA Standards). We will build toward expressive and interpretive language skills from level 2 to level 3.
