Welcome to our school family at Picnic Point Elementary! My name is Bethenee Grant Engelsvold, and I currently support students and staff as the school counseling professional here at school. I am an educational staff associate certified as a school psychologist, and I have also trained as a mental health counselor. I have worked with students and families in both public and private school settings since 1996.  In addition to my work here in the district, I have also worked for several years teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses as an adjunct professor at both Seattle Pacific University and Northwest University. I have also served as a practicum supervisor for counseling interns and an internship supervisor for school psychologist interns. As a counseling services provider, my primary responsibility is to nurture and promote the personal resiliency, social development and academic growth of all students---I truly think I have the best job in the school!
