Summer School is underway

Summer School classes are being held at Challenger Elementary and at Voyager Middle School from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 8 through Friday, August 2. Limited bus routes are available and free breakfast and lunch will be served.

 

Elementary students are taking lessons that include literacy skills, math and science activities, get up and move, and visits to the library. Classes in language acquisition and introduction to middle school also are available.

 

The middle school Summer School program includes integrated block classes in English/language arts, math, and Growth Mindset. Students also can take Washington state history, language acquisition, elite fitness, and introduction to high school.

 

High school Summer School students can take English/language arts, language acquisition, Algebra 1 and geometry, Washington state history, elite fitness, and SAT/ACT prep. Students who received a failing grade or did not receive credit in a high school course also can take online credit recovery courses.
