Mr. Simmons has lived in Mukilteo since 1997 and retired from The Boeing Company in January 2019 after 21 years in Human Resources. He now serves as the Director of Talent Management for Seattle Public Schools. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and completed an Executive Education course on Human Resources for Strategic Advantage at Stanford in 2007. He previously served on the Mukilteo Schools Foundation Board of Directors.
He has two daughters, both graduates from Kamiak High School. His four-year term expires November 2019.
