Health Services

A diagram illustrating the School Nursing Practice Framework, emphasizing the interconnectedness of school nurses, students, families, and the community.

Health Services, part of Mukilteo School District's Special Services Department, is a team comprised of 17 certificated school nurses who support the students, families and staff at 21 buildings across the district.

Grounded in ethical and evidence-based practice, school nurses are the leaders who bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, advocate for quality student-centered care, and collaborate to design systems that allow individuals and communities to develop their full potential. Our District Nurses and their professional practices are supported by Health Services Paraeducators who are specially trained to assist in our school health rooms.
