Back-to-School Resources

We have put together a few resources that will make it easier for our students and families to get the school year off to a strong start!
Updates to this page or new information will be added as we receive them.
The first day of school depends on your grade:
- Tuesday, September 1: First day for grades 6 and 9 (Conferences for grades K-5 begin)
- Wednesday, September 2: First day for grades 7, 8 and 10-12 (all middle and high school students attend)
- Thursday, September 3: First day for grades 1-5 (Kindergarten conferences continue)
- Friday, September 4: First day for kindergarteners (learning Improvement Time begins. (Early Release.)
- Monday, September 7: Labor Day, no school. District Office and departments are closed.
- Tuesday, September 8: First day of school for all Mukilteo School District and ECEAP preschool students.
- Students attending ACES/Big picture begin school Tuesday, September 1, (grade 9) and September 2, (grades 10-12).
Families of students in preschool, kindergarten and grades 1-5 will be invited to Family Engagement Conferences to get to know your teacher and help prepare for the new year.
- September 1-3: Conferences for preschool and kindergarten.
- September 1-2: Conferences for grades 1-5.
2026-27 Schedules:

- The printed wall calendar will not be distributed this year to save resources and preserve funds for core needs.
